My name is Jaylee but I often go by my second name La-Princia I am currently 15 years old but I started my business when I was 14. From the age of 11 I’ve always kept myself busy with crafting, I used to make bracelets and sold them alongside necklaces. When I was 12 I attempted starting a lipgloss business but it didn’t work out so well, for two years I decided to research formulas until I found one that worked for me and that’s when I opened “ShopWithLP “ on the 14th of February 2020 meaning I have been in business for 10 months. Black pound day has benefited me in many ways for example it has bettered my communication skills with costumers and help mould me into a real business woman, it has also help me come across genuine people who love to support and uplift Black businesses.
To me black pound day is a day to give back to my community by buying Black and packing orders from those who have ordered black. It means a lot when I see people supporting my brand because at times it can get difficult. For example there could be days when no orders come in but when somebody supports my business it reminds me to never give up and I remember how far I’ve come ❤️. To any young entrepreneurs wanting to start a business but are discouraged, go for it!! You have nothing to loose, orders won’t come in straight away but in the long run they do I promise💗 just because someone may be doing the business you want to do, who says you can’t, do it and put your own twist.
When you go to the bread aisle there are many bread companies and each one of them still profit despite them making the same thing as the opposing company, trust me anything is possible once you put your mind to it ❤️.
