Camden Council has teamed up with BPD to launch a borough-wide initiative, addressing inequalities and creating equal opportunities for success.

Calling all Camden-based Black-owned businesses! We want to hear your stories, challenges, and needs for success. The Camden Black Business survey is your platform to share your insights and guide us in shaping future initiatives. (Click the link in highlights)

Through this partnership, we will map the strategic support needed to empower Black-owned businesses, building a stronger and inclusive Camden.

Hey All, Swiss here!

I was recently awarded an honary PHD in business administration by Arden University for the work the BPD team has committed to over the last 3 years, and I wanted to let our Black Pound Day community know, as this is a major milestone for me. I'm also writing this to thank you all publicly for your investment in this movement.

It takes a lot of hard work from all of us to make this unified effort to continue to help build the economic infrastructure of the Black community, and if you're present and involved, you can see the change that is taking place.

I'm marking this as a win for all of us, I am grateful and still don't have all the words to express the feeling of gratitude, but I just want to say thank you all once again the active community and especially the BPD Team that work hard to make this happen.

The last #BlackPoundDay of 2023 is tomorrow, please remember to patronise your favourite local and online Black owned brands.
